Washington Nationals Cap

Cap (1952-1954)

What is this Washington Nationals Cap?

This 1950s Washington Nationals cap (worn from 1952 to 1960) featured a red W on a navy blue crown with matching visor, the button at the top of the cap was red. The Nationals kept this design into the 1955 season after they officially changed their name back to the Washington Senators and would wear it until their relocation to Minnesota following the 1960 season.
