What is this NHL Draft Logo?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Hockey League had to scrap their plans to hold a live, in-person draft in July. Originally set to be hosted by the Montreal Canadiens, the new draft -- now remote and held in October -- retained the Habs colour scheme for its logo (shown here on red) but stripped away any references to be held in Montreal leaving just the wordmark from the original logo.
