This 1950s Washington Senators cap (worn from 1952 to 1960) featured a red W on a navy blue crown with matching visor, the button at the top of the cap was red. The Senators retained this design following the team changing its name from Nationals to Senators in the 1955 season. The Senators franchise would wear it until their relocation to Minnesota following the 1960 season (a completely separate Washington Senators expansion team began in 1961 with a new cap design).
