The Detroit Pistons teal logo. The Pistons went in a bold new direction for the 1996-97 season with a new teal, burgundy, and black logo featuring a horse with a flaming mane and PISTONS written out with flames firing out of tailpipes. The look with its wild new colour scheme was polarizing, and the team reverted back to blue, white, and red after five seasons.
