What is the Arizona Diamondbacks Logo?

The original Arizona Diamondbacks logo featured a turquoise A with purple and copper markings mimicking the skin of a diamondback snake. Within the middle of the A is a purple half star which both appears like a snake tongue and completes the design of a snake head in the negative space. Below the logo is the team name stacked in italics in purple and copper.
