Lew Burdette/Johnny Sain Memorial Patch. A black baseball with white stitches, the number 33 in between the initials "LB" and "JS". This memorial patch was worn by the Atlanta Braves during the 2007 season in memory of former Braves players Lew Burdette and Johnny Sain.

Lew Burdette (1926-2007) was a starting pitcher who pitched for several teams but spent the bulk of his career with the Boston/Milwaukee Braves, pitching for the Braves franchise for 13 seasons from 1951 through 1963. Burdette made the NL All-Star team twice (1957, 1959), led the NL in wins (1959), and finished third in NL Cy Young voting (1958) during his time with the Braves.
Johnny Sain (1917-2006) was a starting pitcher with the Boston Braves from 1942 to 1951, he was also later a coach with the Atlanta Braves in 1977 and again from 1985-1986. Sain was a two-time NL All-Star (1947, 1948) while with the Braves and is famous for his tandem with Warren Spahn, inspiring the poem "Spahn and Sain and pray for rain" in 1948.
