What is this Anaheim Ducks Logo?
The Ducks wore an embroidered patch on the upper right chest of their jerseys for the first month of the 2011-12 season, in memory of former Ducks Defenseman Ruslan Salei, who was tragically killed along with the rest of the KHL's Lokomotiv Yaroslavl team in a plane crash in Russia on September 7, 2011. The jerseys featuring this patch would later be auctioned off for charity.
