What is the National Hockey League Logo?
The NHL logo is a black shield with the league name NHL in silver lettering shown ascending from the bottom left to the upper right placed within sash-like striping. Bevelling is present throughout the trim on the outside of the black shield. The NHL swapped orange for silver and reversed the direction of the lettering (the league is going up, not down) following their cancelled lockout season in 2005.
