Boston Bruins Logo

Primary Dark Logo (1924/25-1925/26)

What is this Boston Bruins Logo?

The original Boston Bruins logo did not the team's familiar black and gold, instead brown was the Bruins primary colour for their first dozen or so seasons. The logo, shown here on brown, debuted for the 1924-25 season and showed a brown bear below BOSTON arched above in gold, BRUINS written below in brown on a yellow rectangle. The Bruins used this logo for their first two seasons before slightly adjusting it in 1926.
