Boston Bruins Logo

Primary Dark Logo (1933/34-1948/49)

What is this Boston Bruins Logo?

The Boston Bruins finally made the switch to black and gold in the 1934-35 season after ten seasons using brown as their primary colour. The logo, a block 'B' trimmed in gold and shown here on black, remained the same as prior seasons with a simple swap of colour from brown to black. Boston won two Stanley Cups in their fifteen seasons using this logo, they made the switch to their famous spoked 'B' logo from this design in 1949.
