The Seattle Seahawks primary logo, first introduced in 2012, shows the profile of a seahawk head facing right. The bird is depicted in navy blue with a prominent lime green eye. A distinctive grey stripe runs across the midsection of the head, replacing the blue stripe from earlier versions of the logo. The design is based on traditional Northwest Coast Native art and represents strength and resilience, aligning with the cultural heritage of the region. The modernized design of the logo has been used since the Seahawks switch to their Nike uniform set in 2012.
