For the 2003 season, the Seattle Mariners alternate navy blue jersey undergoes a minor change when the silver piping is removed from the front of the jersey. The wordmark remains MARINERS in silver with a blue and teal trim. In 2009, the white is removed from the outside of the nautical rose.
