The Winnipeg Whips logo, used for the second half of their inaugural 1970 season, features a red "W" within an all-blue circle and the team name "whips" below in red serif lettering. The overall look of the team was shaped by their owner and MLB affiliate Montreal Expos. The Whips relocated from Buffalo mid-way through the 1970 IL season.
