What is this Miami Dolphins Logo?
The Miami Dolphins helmet logo from 1980 to 1989 was a slightly modified version of what they had used in the 1970s. The teal dolphin wearing a football helmet with an M on it continued to leap in front of an orange sunburst, but the sunburst itself was made considerably smaller than before. The Dolphins darkened the shade of orange and aqua used in this logo following the 1989 season.
