The Seattle Mariners second logo, adopted in time for their fifth season in 1981, was the logo used for the Seattle-hosted 1979 MLB All-Star Game. It featured an upside-down royal blue trident in the shape of an M trimmed in yellow and blue placed on a white star trimmed in royal blue. The Mariners would used this logo for six seasons before replacing it in 1987.
