What is this Miami Dolphins Logo?
The Miami Dolphins helmet logo used during the 1968 season pushed the location of the dolphin up enough to place it above the orange sunburst. The logo continued to feature an aqua dolphin wearing a helmet with an orange M on it, leaping through the sun. The Dolphins later switched to this logo on their helmets during their time in the NFL starting in 1973 and continuing through 1979.
