Miami Dolphins Helmet

Helmet (1968)

What is this Miami Dolphins Helmet?

This Miami Dolphins helmet was first used in the AFL in 1968 and then brought back midway through the 1973 season. It again featured a white shell with a grey facemask and a teal, white, orange striping pattern down the middle. The logo was again an aqua dolphin wearing an orange M football helmet leaping in front of an orange sunburst, however the Dolphins moved the dolphin higher in this version causing it to be above the sunburst.
