What is this St. Louis Cardinals Helmet?
The St. Louis Cardinals helmet, first used when the team moved from Chicago in 1960, featured the profile of a red cardinal bird head with a yellow beak and black features. It was worn on an all-white helmet with grey facemask. This logo is identical to what the Cardinals used in Phoenix Cardinals from 1988 to 1993 and then again after their name change to Arizona in 1994, it is shown multiple times on this site to reflect the name changes to the team.
