More Information on This Logo

When the new uniforms for the 2004 Toronto Blue Jays were unveiled in September of '03 this script on a very dark graphite jersey was presented as the new road uniform. Style guides and video games intended for the 2004 season all showed this dark graphite uniform (yes, the pants were this colour too) as the Blue Jays road uniform. We're not sure what happened between the unveiling and the beginning of the 2004 season, but the team ultimately changed their mind on the controversial road uniform colour and switched to a more traditional lighter shade of grey. These uniforms were sold at the official Jays team shop as "fashion jerseys" but us logo fans knew better and snatched them up at heavily discounted prices.
