What is this Davidson Wildcats Logo?
Wildcat head on a red diamond above DAVIDSON wordmark in white on a black background. Davidson College unveiled its new athletic marks in mid-August 2010 after partnering with SME, Inc. Through the process, they found that their students, alumni and fans really had an affinity for and identify with the previous logo, the cat with the diamond behind it, so they opted to continue along that evolutionary track to get the new primary mark. The new spirit mark is the ninth Davidson has used since becoming known as the Wildcats following a football game at Auburn in 1917.
