What is this New York Mets Cap?
The New York Mets cap features an interlocked orange NY on the front of a royal blue crown with a matching blue visor. In 1997, the Mets changed the colour of the button on the top of the cap to orange. While worn as their full-time home and road cap for the majority of this time, the Mets did wear this cap far less often throughout the first decade of the 2000s, switching to a predominantly black colour scheme during that time.
