Toronto Blue Jays Logo

Primary Logo (2004-2011)

What is the Toronto Blue Jays Logo?

The Toronto Blue Jays logo used from 2004 to 2011 was a great departure from anything the team had used previously. The logo featured a mostly black and silver colour scheme with blue relegated to a trim colour and the head of the bird. A blue jay head is shown facing the left next to a stylized JAYS in white with silver bevelling and an underscore. This was the only Blue Jays logo not to include the colour red nor a maple leaf. This logo was in use for eight seasons before being replaced with a modernized version of their original logo and colours in 2012.
