The original Houston Astros logo, introduced following their name change from Colt 45s, showed their home stadium the Astrodome in white and blue on an orange circle with the team name arched below in royal blue with baseballs orbiting around the domed stadium. Used by the club from 1965 until the end of the 1976 season.
