Primary Logo (2000-2012)

What is the Houston Astros Logo?

The Houston Astros went through a radical redesign upon their move from the Astrodome to Enron Field in 2000. The team was given an old-time train look anchored by their new logo, a brick red star trimmed in black and sand with Astros scripted below in black. The theme was based on the location of the new ballpark being at the old Union Station.

Notable Players of this era: Craig Biggio, Jeff Bagwell, Roy Oswalt, Billy Wagner, Ivan Rodriguez, Carlos Beltran, Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, John Franco, Dwight Gooden
