For the 1992-93 season, the Devils redesign their uniforms eliminating the greeen in favor of black, and altering the striping pattern on the sleeves and waiste. Also, during that 1992-93 season the New Jersey Devils joined the rest of the league in wearing a 100 year anniversary of the Stanley Cup patch on the left side of the chest.
