The Los Angeles Kings logo for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons was a promotion of their third jersey logo used since 2008-09 to primary status. The logo returned the main shape of the design to the pennant, as their first logo was, but now in black and silver with a large LA in white at the top and a crown at the bottom. The Kings won their first Stanley Cup using this logo before they added a black outline to this logo in 2013-14 and then an additional silver outline in 2019-20. It was eventually retired following the 2023-24 season.
