What is the Southwestern Athletic Conference Logo?
Primary logo of the SWAC featuring the SWAC Star design at the center atop the shape shapes of Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi -each with dots locating its member institutions. Above the states the is The Super Seven motto surrounded by arched Southwestern Athletic Conference in a gold serif type. All of that is on a red oval with the border labeled by each of the seven-member institution short names & with team colors. Alabama State would join in 1982 prompting an update to the logo. Year of first use may be sooner.
