What is the Miami Dolphins Logo?

The Miami Dolphins logo from 1980 to 1996 was a slightly modified version of what they had used in the 1970s. The teal dolphin wearing a football helmet with an M on it continued to leap in front of an orange sunburst, but the sunburst itself was made considerably smaller than before. Following the 1989 season, the Dolphins darkened the shade of orange and aqua used throughout this logo.
