What is the Sun Belt Conference Logo?
Primary roundel design with the state shapes of Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida in green with gold stars at each member institution location. The states are atop a pinwheel sun design in yellow placed on an orange center. The outer blue ring features the full conference name in gold. Not the official version. Founded with six members in 1976, membership changes by 1980 called for a logo update. University of New Orleans left in 1980; University of Alabama at Birmingham and Virginia Commonwealth University joined in 1979.
