New York Yankees Logo

Primary Logo (1968-Pres)

What is the New York Yankees Logo?

The New York Yankees logo shows a patriotic Uncle Sam-style stovepipe cap with red, white, and blue stars and stripes placed on top of a red and white baseball bat. The bat forms the part of the k in the red scripted Yankees across a red and white baseball. This logo was first introduced in the 1940s but cleaned up slightly for this version in 1968. The Yankees used both logos concurrently up until 1980.
