What is this Chicago Cubs Logo?

Starting in 1979 the Chicago Cubs wore this logo, a large red C with UBS inside all placed within a thick blue circle, on their pinstriped home white jerseys. Originally introduced in 1957 with a very thin blue circle, the circle was made thicker in 1970 and then again even moreso in 1979.
