The Phoenix Coyotes first major logo change occurred for the 2003-04 season when their classic Kachina logo was replaced with this profile of a howling coyote head in brick red, sand, and black. This logo was used as the Coyotes primary logo right through to the end of the team's Phoenix Coyotes era, the logo was carried over and continued to be used as their primary as the team was re-named the Arizona Coyotes for the 2014-15 NHL season.
